For our summer race, Houston Heat’s coaching committee has decided to head over to Long Beach, CA to cool off from the Texas heat. The Long Beach Dragon Boat Festival is one of the largest festivals in the West Coast, with over 80+ teams racing in different divisions before the pandemic.
This is a good race to test how our team stacks up against many competitive teams from the West Coast, including Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, and Portland, as well as from Canada.
The team registration deadline is on Jule 17th, 2022. At this point, the coaching committee would like to see if there are enough paddlers interested in this race.

The Paddler Fee for this event will be $50 HH Member ($70 for non-members)
If you are interested in paddling with Houston Heat for this event, add your name to the signup list below. We want to know if we will have enough interest by May 31st to determine if Houston Heat will enter a team or not. This will also give paddlers enough time to make plans for this race.
