In the past, it’s also been promoted as a kite flying/Asian Festival event, so there are plenty of things happening during the day of the event. Please consider this dragon boat festival as one of your out-of-town dragon boat racing events.
Sign up for the DFW Dragon Boat, Kite, and Lantern Festival. If you are interested in paddling with Houston Heat for this event, add your name to the signup list below. Additional details regarding assessments, criteria, and training will be emailed. Houston Heat is required to have a maximum of 25 paddlers who will commit to registering and training for this event. In order for us to stay competitive we will require a minimum of 10 male and 10 female paddlers for us to entire the race.
