The Dallas race has now been replaced with a race in Houston on the same day.

In the past, it’s also been promoted as a kite flying/Asian Festival event, so there are plenty of things happening during the day of the event. Please consider this dragon boat festival as one of your out-of-town dragon boat racing events.
If you are interested in paddling with Houston Heat at the upcoming DFW Dragon Boat, Kite, and Lantern Festival, please add your name to the signup list below. We are looking for committed paddlers who are ready to register and train for this event. In order to stay competitive and be eligible to race, Houston Heat must have a minimum of 24 paddlers, including at least 10 male and 10 female paddlers. If we have enough interest to form two or more teams, we will gladly do so.
