Houston Heat at the 2025 Lunar New Years Festival
Heaters! The new season is about to start! But before we do, let’s start the new year off right! Come out to the 2025 Lunar New Years Festival and help showcase the Houston Heat Dragon Boat Club and our paddling family. We will have a booth set up with the paddling ergs as well as a dragon boat on display! This is an excellent opportunity to recruit new members for the club and bring more awareness of the sport!
We will need volunteers for 3 different shifts to help with the booth, each being approximately 2 hours long. There will be a sign up sheet for each shift. We will need help setting up as well before the festival starts as well as clean up after it ends. Make sure to proudly wear your Houston Heat jersey!
Also, take the opportunity to walk around the festival to check out the other booths, watch a variety of demonstrations and entertainment, plus sample all of the great food. Admission is free! Street parking is free as well, but please note, it does get very crowded and parking, so plan ahead and allow some time to find.
