After a one year hiatus, the Lighthouse of Houston’s Blind Fury Dragon Boat Team is getting ready to race again this year in the May 5, 2018 TDBA Dragon Boat Festival to be held at Allen’s Landing on Downtown’s Buffalo Bayou. They’ve been holding poolside practices already and want to get on the water again!

They have scheduled a water practice with TDBA for 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday afternoon, April 21, which will be held at TDBA’s past race site across the street from Tony Marron Park at 808 N York St. 77003.

If you are interested and available to help and paddle alongside this blind and visually impaired team on April 21, please sign up to show your interest in assisting these courageous men and women who enjoy this water sport immensely! Most of them have paddled in this event before and you won’t be disappointed!
